L’industrie (Williamsburg)

If you ever find yourself strolling down Bedford Ave in Williamsburg, then you should check out L’industrie. 

This local pizzeria serves artisanal slices with unique toppings that aren’t found at many local za spots. I had the fig slice which was topped with ricotta, parmesan, bacon, arugula and hot honey. The flavor profile was explosive in the best way, a bit creamy, sweet and savory with a hint of hot spice.

The owner, Action Bronson, is a well-known rapper and established figure within New York. His passion and creativity translates beyond hiphop into the realm of food as he executes his recipes just as uniquely as he does with music. 

The service was pleasant and quick. The cashier takes your name and announces when your order is ready over a loud speaker. It gave me a nostalgic vibe. I couldn't quite put my finger on what exactly, but it felt good. The outdoor dining area is well insulated for the winter time, making the outdoor dining available year round.
