The classic NY pizza - Milly Pizzeria (Bedstuy)

If you’re craving a New York pizza, but the classic formula that will transport you to the golden age of Brooklyn pizza (1990s), then look no further. 

Milly’s in Bedstuy embodies the classic pizza slice in all its forms. A simple slice with 3 of everyone’s favorite ingredients - tomato, cheese, flour. It’s the type of slice that, when served fresh out of the oven, the cheese drips down with every bite. 

A main highlight of Millys is the smiling faces and the warm greeting you receive upon entering Millys. Another is fresh parmesan cheese and hot sauce in the soda fridge. Why put low quality parm that has sat on the counter for 8 hours when you can go to Millys and get fresh parm? (By fresh parm I mean it’s refrigerated not freshly shredded). Hey, you gotta take what you can and make the best of it. 

Although they offer seating, it’s more of a quick grab and go type of establishment. It’s on the edge of Bedstuy and right under the J/M train.
